About Officer Down Ministries

Hello I am Dean Johnson Jr. I have been a sworn law enforcement officer in North Carolina for twenty one years. During that time span I have seen all kind of problems that confront officers. Everything from finances, marriage, depression, pride, alcohol, double standards, anger, suicide,  death, and etc,. Some of these problems take root far before they manifest themselves in an outward showing. The officer often times shows some kind of need for help. But as happens all too often the officer is impressed to suck it up and learn not to show their feelings. Many times well meaning chaplains try to assist the officer but is met with a stone wall because the officer is not going to share personal problems with a person that shows up once or twice a year and the officer does not know where the chaplain’s loyalty is placed. Officer Down Ministries wants to be there for the officer in the good times and the hard times. We want the officer to know that they can trust and count on us to be there in the good time and the rough times.

Depending on the topic of my site, I could include historical information about my subject. For example, if my site is about my business, I could discuss how my business got started. If my site is about a sports team, music group, movie star, or my family, I could chronologically list or summarize major events important to my topic.
